The Position
EXIGIS is looking for people with strong telemarketing skills to help us execute successful customer adoption call campaigns. This position will require you to make calls to assist companies with an insurance compliance process. You will need to clearly explain to these contacts the purpose of your call, explain who EXIGIS is and help them understand the importance of their participation. Think of these calls as “warm calls” where you are helping to educate a 3rd party about a new insurance compliance process. You will be evaluated on how successful you are at driving customer adoption, so you should enjoy speaking to new contacts on the phone. If you enjoy working in a fast paced goal oriented environment this is the job for you. This is a full-time position from 8:30am – 6:00pm Monday – Friday. 
The Duties
The essential duties include the following:
  • Making approximately 50 calls per shift that are professional and successful in obtaining the needed insurance information.
  • Convincing the contacts you are calling to participate and adopt a new way of validating insurance information.
  • Data entry and transcription, you should have fast and accurate typing skills.
  • Providing excellent customer service to all EXIGIS customers.
  • Conducting research over the internet.
The Skills
Anyone applying for this position should have the following skills and experience:
  • Ability to type at least 50 words per minute.
  • Excellent communicative phone skills, the contacts you are calling may be resistant and you will need to convey confidence.
  • You should not fear rejection and be aggressive about getting the appropriate information from the contact.
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience as a Customer Service Representative or in telemarketing.
  • Associate Degree or BS from an accredited institution.
  • Must be responsible, punctual, and willing to do what it takes to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Must be computer proficient especially with web applications.
  • Ability to manage difficult or complicated customer situations.
  • Gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
  • Strong team work and interpersonal skills.
  • Synthesizes complex or diverse information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Generates creative solutions.
  • Demonstrates high-degree of attention to detail.
