Business Analyst: $55K to $65k plus benefits (depending on experience)

Our award-winning risk management software platform RISKworks™ is revolutionizing the way risk is managed. We are seeking talented, motivated and bright individuals to join our high-energy project implementation team.
Responsibilities:
· Analysis & Documentation (45% of job)
o Understanding business process management and business requirements of our customers and formally translating them to specific software and servicing requirements
o Accurately maintaining customer business requirements documentation for all assigned projects
o Tracking and assessing of project key performance indicators (pre and post deployment)
o Design, development and execution of management information reports
· Communication Management (35% of job)
o Communicating to key project stakeholders (e.g. customers, sales, account managers, line managers, etc.) on a regularly and timely basis to ensure common understanding of project goals, objectives and status
o Proficient in identifying emerging project risks and issues
· Change Control & Scope Management (20% of job)
o Tracking project scope and budget
o Monitoring and documenting delivery of project tasks completed by internal delivery departments
o Audit configured software and services to documented business requirements documentation in preparation for customer sign-off
o Facilitate customer acceptance testing sessions
o Effectively coordinating customer sign off
Requirements:
· A Bachelors degree in Business Administration with concentration in Information Systems/Computer Science, or a bachelors degree in Information Systems/Computer Science with concentration in Business Administration
· Candidates must live within 45 minutes of Manhattan, New York (no relocation will be considered)
· With limited exception, candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America without employer sponsorship, both currently and in the future
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Strong problem solving and analytical mindset with a demonstrable bias toward action
· Software coding skills including SQL, JavaScript, and ASP/VBScript.
· Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge including formula/function design and data transformation & analysis techniques)
Preferred:
· Two (2) years of experience working in a similar capacity
· Academic course work includes Risk Management or Finance, or Project Management
· Experience building or maintaining relational databases
· Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
